Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 September 2026
This policy explains what information Restomend collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Snapshot requests: restaurant name, website, city and cuisine, and your name, work email, role, number of locations and, if you choose, a phone number.
- Contact messages: the topic, your name, email, restaurant, city and message.
- Basic technical data: the information any web server receives, such as IP address and browser type, kept in short-lived server logs.
How we use it
- To prepare the Snapshot you asked for and send it to you.
- To reply to your message and, if you ask, discuss a program with you.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your information, and we do not publish anything about your restaurant — including Snapshot findings — without your permission.
Public information about restaurants
To produce a Snapshot we look at information that is already public: your website, listings, reviews, publications, and the answers AI assistants give to dining questions. We treat the resulting analysis as confidential to you.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the business — for example email and form hosting — under agreements that limit their use of the data to that service.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and Snapshot data are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted, unless you become a client, in which case your contract governs retention.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@restomend.com.
